Developed for Marks and Spencer PLC, LyoW® Multifibre is a test fabric consisting of six different yarn compositions. LyoW® Multifibre is used as an adjoining fabric in Marks and Spencer's color fastness testing regimen, which is manufactured specifically for them by SDC.
It is manufactured with a narrow weave and contains the following ingredients, Regenerated Cellulose, Cotton, Nylon, Polyester, Acrylic and Wool. LyoW® Multifibre undergoes a rigorous quality control process carried out by independent UKAS accredited laboratories. Testing includes individual fibers prior to construction and further testing on the finished product. Multifilament fabrics are required to pass these tests before each new lot is deemed fit for sale.
