Our “Bennewart” base bending machine has three stations, each with fixed and mobile sample clamps.
To facilitate specimen installation, the clamps have an automatic flat position and an overall bend position to allow incisions to be made and cut measurements to be made.
These positions can be selected via the touch screen.
The touch screen allows access to several utilities such as inserting total number of test cycles, inserting test steps and easily verifying or calibrating routines.
All parts of the machine that come into contact with the test sample are made from stainless steel or aluminum and are sturdy enough to avoid bending during testing.
The current model is to perform testing at room temperature. Cold temperature testing must be performed on our model H011C, which has a cold chamber capable of maintaining continuous testing temperatures down to minus 20 ˚C.
