  • Determining the coefficient of water vapour on leather and non-leather upper (water vapour absorption), according EN ISO 20344:6.7; EN ISO 17229; ISO 17699; TM172.

Thông số kỹ thuật

  • Weigh the conditioned test sample and record the mass as m1.
  • Place 50 ml of water into the container and place the test piece over the container with the side facing the foot downwards.
  • Place the impermeable disc over the test piece and screw down firmly.
  • Ensure that no water laps against the bottom of the test piece.
  • Remove the test piece after 8 h and weigh immediately, recording its mass, m2.
  • Calculate the water vapour absorption using the formula W₁= (m₂-m₁)/a.
