The machine is used to determine the abrasion and knotting resistance of fabrics using the Martindale method
The machine is suitable for testing woven and knitted fabrics, fabrics, and non-woven fabrics

The Martindale Abrasion Test was developed primarily to evaluate the abrasion resistance of wool and textile fabrics and is not suitable for fabrics with surface coating.
The Martindale is equipped with an advanced 7” Touchscreen controller that provides the operator with an easy-to-read display and simple controls to operate the machine. The emergency stop switch is located for ease of use if the operator needs to stop the machine quickly.
Martindale is capable of operating within 24 hours. The test time is calculated from when the machine started and the current time. For the calculation to be accurate, it is necessary to set the correct time
